Here we are again.... Allie is now 7 months old!!!!

This month has been pretty calm. We haven't done too much. Alexis has learned to crawl!!!!! She is a little mover and is getting hard to keep up with. From the time she started to her fully crawling was maybe a week. Once she figures something out she runs away with it.

She loves getting into everything she shouldn't be getting in. One of her favorite things to get into is the Blu-Rays.......

So I am a girl and I'm teaching her to be one too... Yeah you can never be too young......

Now that it is football season we had to put her in her dad's team!!!!

We have slowly been introducing new foods to her. She loves eating her cookies every day. We have to take off her clothes because she makes SUCH A MESS!!!!

Now that she has crawling down she is learning to pull herself up. She only does it on me and her dad though.

We went to Mount Rushmore and Bear Country yesterday so I have tons and tons of pictures to post but I haven't uploaded them yet and it's gonna have to wait for another day because Alexis is yelling that she needs her mom so............. Bye!

My lil Allie is 6 MOTNHS!!!

I can not believe that she has been with us for half a year!!!! At times I think its insane that this is my life now!!!!! We are getting along nicely in Wyoming. We've had our problems but for the most part we are settling in. We just got back from our trip to Utah. We went out for 10 days. We had so many things we had to do! We went to 2 of Jordan's football games.

We went to Price and visited Zac's family. It was great to be able to spend some time with them since we won't be back til Christmas. We also had Alexis 6 month check up. Which went perfect! She is 15 lbs 6 oz and 26 inches long. Now for me to brag about my baby...... She has been sitting up all by herself all month long.

She is also moving everywhere. She rolls and scoots herself all over the floor. She is also starting to push herself on her knees. So she's gonna be crawling soon. Which I'm not sure if I'm happy for or not!

Late again......

yep i am doing this late again... but its because today is the first day weve had internet since we moved up here!!!! alexis is now 5 months old!!!

this past month has been pretty busy. we have been trying to spend as much time with family as we could before we left. we spent a weekend in price/ at the cabin. When we were in price alexis was able to meet her great Yia-Yia.

we also made a trip to vernal this month. it was great to spend some time with gigi and alexis was able to meet her great grandpa

uncle stevin got a new dog, sam and alexis LOVES him. she just loved sitting and watching him. i think that means she needs a puppy but her daddy doesnt exactly agree with me right now......

so the day before she turned 5 months old we came to gillette. since we have such wonderful family that brought all of our things up, alexis and i were able to fly out here. it was alexis first plane flight and i've only been on a plane a couple of times so i was pretty nervous. alexis did great though. she slept almost the whole time and then entertained the other passengers when she was awake.

we're now just trying to get settled and get back on a schedule so it can be ruined when we go back to utah in 2 weeks!!! oh well!!!

It's that time......

So we knew that this would happen... I just kept hoping it wasn't going to happen soon. But Zac has gotten transferred. He left to Gillette, Wyoming 2 weeks and 6 days ago! Alexis and I have been staying at my mom's house and visiting everyone before we leave. Which is gonna be in 3 days, we fly out on Saturday. I'm so excited to see Zac again this is the longest time we have been apart. Plus I really don't like Alexis being apart from her daddy. It's gonna be way nice to be able to get back onto a schedule. So I guess its goodbye Utah... Hello Wyoming???????

Aww SOOO much!!!!!

Ok... Ok.... Ok.... I know I'm so horrible about writing on here. Now that Alexis is getting older and can hang out alone more I am getting better at getting things done. This is going to become a priority.... I hope!!!! Anyway I have so much to tell! Since I missed it I'll start with Alexis' @ 3 months old.

She turned 3 months on June 14. Since Utah has such awesome weather..... It was nothing but raining and generally crappy weather the whole beginning of the month. So we had to spend most of the time in the house. She is getting a lot more vocal and "talks" all the time. She's also starting to get better at being alone on the floor. Which gives me a little bit more time to do other things than just hold her!!!! She is so social also. She loves smiling at people. We also had a family member's baby shower that we attended. We finally got our 5 generation picture taken.....

We also had our family pictures taken for Mother's Day. Alexis was having a horrible day and while she was good during the shoot she wasn't the happiest. I guess the joys of having a 2 1/2 month old. While we've had a couple of snags and still havent recieved them here is a preview of more to come.....

Ok now we can move on to 4 months. This past month has been quite the wirlwind for us. We have been to Price twice and are planning 2 more weekends..... It also finally started warming up and ITS FINALLY SUMMER IN UTAH!!!!! I'm so excited. We have been able to have lots of firsts with Alexis.....

Alexis is now 4 months old!!!! She has been so busy lately. She is finally taking a pacifier. We found a brand she likes and its the only ones that she will take. As much as I hate them they have made things a little easier. She also taught herself how to roll from her back to her stomach. She rarely stays on her back now. She also is trying so hard to sit up by herself. She still kinda has a round bottom and topples over pretty easily.

Wow!!! Thats a whole of life to catch up on. Hopefully I never have to do it again like this....

2 months!!!

I thougt I would be so much better at blogging but I just can't seem to keep up on it too well. But Alexis turned 2 months old last week. We made another quick trip to Price that weekend. And then we've had a very busy week last week. She went to the doctors and had her 2 month check up and it went perfect. She weighs 11 lbs 6 oz which putas her in the 75th percentile for weight. She's 22 inches long and that in the 50th percentile. And her head size was 15 which is also in the 50th percetile. The doctor was very impressed with her strength and how well she holds her head up. Daddy wants her to get bigger too fast and has had her putting all her weight on her legs since she was about a month and a half. The doctor said that usually doesn't happen until about the 3-5 months so Daddy is proud of her. She is also quite the social little butterfly. She smiles so much. She has started "talking" the last couple of weeks. She just loves having an audience.Which does scare me to death. All we need is another attention hog in this family.  The last 3 days she has started grasping things with her hands. In 72 hours I have decided that my hair just might not make it!!!! I know why women chop all their hair off when they have kids!!!!!!

Already!!!!!

I can't believe my baby is already 1 month old!!!! For the most part we've just been staying at home. We did get to go to Price though so Alexis could spend some time with her Yia-Yia and meet all of her cousins. It was a short trip but it was good to see everyone.

Alexis has been holding  her head up pretty well for a little while now. She loves looking around at everything. She won't sleep for long periods of time on her back but she loves laying on it when she's awake. Her daddy and her lay on the ground and she just kicks and kicks and kicks for him. He loves getting her all excited!!!! They are quite the pair already! And yes she is a daddy's girl!!!!! I can't wait to see her grow more!!!!!
